Haven't been close enough to smell one, but then again - even if I lived among the penguins, why would I want to go around smelling them? ;-)

Go to your local zoo...They are very clean
and smell like salt water. I thought they would
smell like fish...but no. They are not so nice.
They are territorial and kind of aggressive.
Once they get use to people they can be trained.
The ones at San Francisco Zoo, did tricks for fish.
