I think the best way to learn about the stock market is to first see what the best traders are buying and selling and why. Check out stockcharts.com and read about technical analysis and fundamental analysis. Also, read the book, "Understanding Wall Street". I also recommend taking some courses in stock investing at your local community schools (nexpensive). Once you get your feet wet, I really advise you taking a course with a professional trader.
