Putting it simply and plainly:

We need to re-learn how to leave ordinary people, as in law-abiding citizens, the hell alone, and to have the courage to re-focus our efforts on the real threats to society, humanity and civilization.

We need to once again *exert control* over our Corporations (big business that is) and our Institutions of Faith (big, and often fundamentalist, churches). If we continue to *let* our Corporations run amok and do what their greed tells them to do, they will bankrupt nations and destroy the planet in short order, and leave *billions* of people unable to earn a living without becoming slave labor. And if we continue to *let* the Institutions of Faith confuse their *political* ambitions with those of their faith, if we *let* them keep on waging a war and trying to provoke their Doctrinal End of Days...if we let the Separation of Church and State die, the result will be a Global Civil War, not between nations but between a rising tide of Aspiring Religious Dictatorship and Ordinary People Who Yet Believe In Reason.

Either way, it *almost* doesn't matter whether or not Nuclear or Other Weapons of Mass Destruction are involved. If the world's nations are as divided into a land of Have Alls and Have Nones as *Haiti* is, courtesy of an out-of-control CEO Class, civilization will end in anarchy, riots, and mass suicides as good people and bad ones both simply *run out* of ways to go on living in a civilized manner.

And if the division is between True Believer and Heathen, and the weapon of choice is the Suicide Bomber....well, you tell me, can the *whole world* survive long if it *all* ends up like Israel? Or worse, as people get desperate to fight a rising tide of Evangelical Dominionist (or Wahabbi Muslim) despotism?

So yeah, Big Business *and* Big Religion BOTH need to be reined in so Ordinary People can *survive* their worst excesses.

Hope this helps. :) Thanks for your time!

Resource management.
There is abundant raw materials and land to live on.
Its just that some countries are too busy oppressing their citizens to feel big and powerful, despite being no larger than the state of Florida.
For example, an area the size of Texas can hold a population of 6.5 billion, while giving each person roughly 128 square feet. Thats a space of 11feet 4inches by 11feet 4inches. Cramped, but should show that 'over population' is a function of mismanagement, and not an overwhelming number of people. All though we don't need anymore either. With a single benevolent dicta..er monarch, the earth could easily sustain its people. With a plan of energy research, recycling, and removal of aggressive population pockets, it would be easy.

The action is now out of all hands and enroute to being done for you. I advise this is not a time for complacency or going along. Excercise your judgement.
