Wednesday around 6pm It was raining outside and as I walked into my job I fell. It happened so quickly I didn't have time to try and break my fall and I slammed down on my right shoulder and arm plus twisted my foot all at the same time. When I got up a while later I had a headache my foot was hurting and sore and hours later I was very nauseous. Now 3 days later my headache is still somewhat there it comes and goes and my foot has a bruise like on the bone where you can see it elevated or swelled in that area it's a small area though. I've been forgetting dumb things like where my keys are and leaving my cell phone places and etc.. I don't remember hitting my head. I don't want to go to the doctor just bc I fell but what should I be looking for to know if I need to go? also my neck hurts on the right when I turn my head right and my right arm is bruised.

You had a mild concussion. This can occur without actually hitting your head. The mere whipping of your head and neck (a form of whiplash) that occurred in your sudden fall can cause the brain to bounce back and forth within the skull. This produces a concussive effect on the brain.

It may be a good idea to see your family Chiropractor. He/she can evaluate your condition and provide safe treatment for any neck injuries that also would have resulted from your fall.

Best wishes and good luck.

Not anything they can do for you days later. If you did have a concussion, it's better by now. Nothing is broken. Just take Motrin and rest. You're just bruised. I'm surprised your job didn't require that you go to the doctor to get checked out so that you don't sue them.

did you report this accident to your supervisor.
you might of got whip lash...pinch nerve in your upper back (get an MRI) done. You may have problems down the road in later in life if you do not get it checked out.
you also may have some ruptured disc in your neck or back...they can treat it with therapy and anti inflammatory ibuprofen. Also some pain medicine.
You need to see your doctor right away. you need to see a memory loss specialist.
