When Earth (and our solar system) disappers there will be no evidence of man or life on this planet or even our solar system. Which makes me wonder why we live our lives the way we do and not like nature intended...enjoying it and living clean.

I mean why do we complicate our life by working hard to pay for things we can live without...big homes, big cars, fancy clothes, fancy restaurants and cable.

I believe that all mankind will live (after death in this life) in one of two places--heaven or hell. However, that is not the topic of this question.

Your question is intriguing in that it begs the question as to why we should even be concerned with the quality of our lives if, indeed, we are to disappear forever with no trace of our having existed.

What's the point of "living clean?"

I have many comebacks to the question

1) we may be on other extrasolar planets, planets outside of the solar system.
2) being clean (I'm assuming you are saying cleaner than today's living) damages the economy. Businesses have to follow these regulations of being clean (I'm not saying following is bad) and they will create less products/services.
3)we're already dependent on these stuff. cars produce lots of smoke, but we can't just say, no more cars.

According to evolution theory and philosophy= no . Man evolved from another type of animal who did not have the Inteligence to know that he had a Creator who created it and the Universe.

According to Biblical accord of Creation = yes. Man was put to gether and later from him a female by Our Creators Himself in their Image.Man started out Kosher but later not so kosher! To day we have had degradation of genetics and we are more prone to Disease compared to original Creation condition . Man even degraded to the point where he dies.

There is therefore different points of view how you came to determine the existance level of Man and woman at present age.

I work hard to simplify my life because I enjoy it more that way. I hate it when someone gives me a free gift that just becomes one more complication in my life. Slow down and smell the roses. Money can buy you security which can make you happy but we waste this money on things that never make us happy for long.

Its mankind itself that has imposed the restrictions on ourselves. We decided we wanted leaders or people went to war to become leaders and from that a hierarchy developed. Mans greed means that there will always be those who want more than others rather than working together to survive as one. As clever as we think we are we must look so primitive to any observers.

Our possibilities are endless. You do have the capability to choose your own path and to live life the way you see fit. It's simply to your benefit that it doesn't interfere with any major laws or upset any specific group of people that may retaliate against your survival.
