Simple.
Allot an hour or two, a day or in a week, gather one or more illiterates arond you, make them learn to read and write. If you have computer around, the task is much easier. Tata consultancy services have come out with cd's to learn to read and write in 45 days through use of computer, in telugu, tamil and hindi . If you are in a rural area, internet connectivity is getting established using wire less technology and you can use this facility to offer a host of facilities for socio-economic development of our underprivilaged brethern in rural setting.
