I think you should. I think if you fear retaliation or being victimized, you should make this known to the police when you make the report. I think that kind of behaviour is just selfish.

Just because he is doing something illegal doesn't mean you should throw him under the train... why not simply ask him to do it somewhere else and not where you can smell it ! Now if he is running a drug store in his home... by all means, call the police... but simple possession and use... come on, give the guy a break !

I would not call the cops. It could be alot worse. although if it bothers you and you have kids or something knock on the door and ask them if they can be a little more discreet about it . I'm sure they will stoners are pretty friendly. unless there little teenagers

If it is not affecting your life I would not. You have to think about how it will be if you decide to tell the cops, it will most likey be an akward situation when coming in contact with your neighbor. I would just mind my own business I do not think it would be right to tell if it is not causing you or your family any problems.

if it gets to the point where he is trying to sell to children or giving it out to kids then i would worry. I am sure there was a point in almost everyones lives where they tried drugs and you didnt want to get caught?? am i right?? I would just let it alone unless it escalded to selling to kids.

Just ignore them. They could be doing something way worse. They might be nice people and you won't want them to hate you later when you might NEED them to be nice people. Treat them how you want to be treated. If you were breaking a minor law that only affected you or didn't hurt anyone, would you want someone nosy to turn you in and ruin your life? It's their mistake to make and hopefully someday correct.
