The Chevy Venture doesn't have lug bolts. That's a German/Swedish thing. The venture has studs that are pressed in from the back of the hub. The wheel is secured on them with lug nuts. If you remove the lug nuts, you remove the wheel then you can remove the brakes. No need to mess with the studs.

Remove the lug nuts in the same old fashion (rigjty tighty, lefty loosey) Use a pry bar or large screw driver to gently compress the caliper plunger all the way in (assuming you dont plan on saveing the old pads anyway as this tends to chew them up at times), remove caliper bolts and then the caliper. Once you have done this the old rotor should just slip off of the hub over the lug bolts. You might have to tap it a few times with a mallet in case it has set to the hub a little and reverse the process to replace the parts.

Unless the lug bolts are broken no need to change them. If broken, punch them out with a punch and use the lug nut to pull them back in. The rotor is either separate from the hub or integral. The separate rotors are secured lightly with some little metal clips on the studs. Break them off with a chisel and the rotor slips right off. If you have the integral type, you must replace the hub and rotor.
