I prefer the blue pill.
I have studied the red pill extensively, and I still prefer the blue pill.
That is not all that is true about the blue pill.
There is more to it than is described there - much more|

Too stark. I would take the red pill, but only because then I get to deal with reality but can ignore it when I need to, without tuning out for the rest of my life.
I'd probably end up like most have in this century, taking a less potent blue bill, whether that pill be drugs (legal or illegal), meditation, shopping, vacation, sports or TV soap operas.
Too many are on a blue pill binge. Moderation is a good thing.
Peace

I would take the red pill. Maybe because I'm usually obsessed with truth, maybe because I'm generally a curious being. If there is something I despise, that's ignorance. I've seen the movie; Neo wouldn't have anything too precious in his fake life to stick to anyway, so he underestimated the truth, but did not regret his choice after wards. A computer program could never be so perfect as to simulate real life, which comes in an infinite of forms and feelings. Such a "simulated" life could not be as intense as to truly satisfy one, as there is no truth in it.

It's too bad most of us need a pill to wake up from our reality. I say TAKE NEITHER because there's no sure way of knowing if the red pill is just showing you another false reality. Instead, just make sure that you are always stopping to look around you & REALLY observe what is happening...and the rabbit hole...will find it's way to you!

Red.
Though there's more than one Philip K Dick story
which posit several layers of illusion. And often the reality is less pleasant, less palatable than the illusions.
Douglas Adams saw it, with his Total Perspective Vortex
George Eliot countered "The unexamined life is not worth living" by noting that "the life too closely examined may not be liveable."
Let's not assume the red pill choice is always going to be better or happier.
(and to Karen: don't be absolutely sure there isn't another red pill to come... I once believed as you did.)

The red pill. Eyes wide open to the truth that no one is going to save us but us. No one is going to get off this planet alive, and there is no heaven above and no hell below except that these 2 imaginary places are metaphors for what we choose to make this planet. Red pill, always the red pill.
