I have been going to Ikea for a long time and think it is great,. I was just back there last weekend looking for a hall bench. Yes their stuff looks good. It is well styled and cleanly made. No it is not already assembled because that is how they keep their prices down. Most people who can read directions and use simple hand tools can put it together themselves. I know someone who re-furnished his entire printing office with desks, tables, and chairs. He paid extra and they had a crew come to his business place after hours and assemble all of the pieces and put them just where he had sketched out for them. I also considered getting my kitchen cabinets from them and they have kitchen-assembly partners that do the entire kitchen job including plumbing and electrical work. They also have delivery services that can bring the stuff to you or you could go there and call a taxi company that has SUVs to bring you and your purchases home.

If you want to get good-looking stuff cheap then do more of the effort yourself. If you can spend for some help you can get all the aid you want.

I've gotten a lot of stuff from IKEA in Frisco, TX. As with any store, some stuff is cheap garbage and some is pretty good. I'm getting my kitchen cabinets from them, saving a FORTUNE over Home Depot and they're really nice. I put together a huge sink cabinet/sink combo that I lost the instructions to, and I had no problem with it. You will probably have some left over screws, etc, they seem to do generic screw/bolt/peg kits, but your instructions will show you exactly what you need. They also encourage you to call them if you need advice.

Go to their website and whatever you are interested in, there's a pull down menu on the right hand side usually, where you can see if the item you want is in stock at the store you are going to.

The one in Frisco had a truck you could rent for taking your purchases home. I did not see anything with regards to business cards for independant delivery.

Ikea is a great store, they have a lot of displays that give an example of how thier products would work. They have several couches and tables and chairs. You could look online for what they are currently carrying. Thier prices are reasonable and you can bring it home same day on most items and assembel them at home. It is easy to do, you'll need some basic tools like a screw driver.
