Atheists automatically believe in nothing until they have proof and evidence of it.

By default, an atheists will not believe in creationism. But he will not by default believe in evolution.

Atheism just says that there are no Gods. It provides no explanation for the creation of life. That is for science and evidence to determine.

I am sure there are various levels of atheism. I can only speak from my experience and perspective. Intelligence in and of itself is probably evolutionary and not perfected. This is far from "chance". This line of thinking could potentially explain the advent of humanity.

However, it is probable that the earliest finite moment of creation did occur as "chance". You know... the primordial soup that gained an electric charge (or other empirical theory).

To help answer your question, I must call upon you to probe more into your own belief system. Are you cognizant of the origins of your written doctrine? What facets of your belief system are allusive, illusive or possibly dillusional?

You asked whether we all came about by chance. No. That is not how evolution works at all. That is a common misconception.

I would recommend that you read a good book on evolution, such as The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. You will then laugh every time you hear someone attempt to refute evolution on the grounds that "we're too unlikely to have come about by chance". :-)

Evolution isn't definite just because Creationism is false, but it's a well-supported theory and there isn't any good reason not to believe it's true right now.

There's no 'automatic' about it, objective reality relies on evidence, repetitive observation and the paradigms of physics are always changing as new evidence is presented.

I am an atheist because I don't believe in deities and the word atheist describes this state of disbelief. I don't believe in deities because no argument or evidence presented to me in support of their existence has been convincing.

1. Biology adequately describes evolution, life and emotions without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

2. Astronomy adequately describes the formation of stars/planets/universe/etc without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

3. Geology adequately describes the evolution of the Earth, land formations, etc without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

4. Psychology describes the human psyche better than appealing to mystical invisible dieties

5. Appealing to mystical invisible dieties is an appeal to ignorance

6. There's no physical evidence for the existence of mystical invisible dieties

7. A myriad of mystical invisible dieties have been posited by emphatically superstitious societies and have been proven to be products of overly active imaginations (today's religion is tomorrow's myth) and ignorance.

8. Believing in mystical invisible dieties seems to become quite absurd when those who posit the mystical invisible dieties begin explaining why and how they exist in the face of contradictory physical evidence.

9. As scientific knowledge increases, the role of the mystical invisible dieties oddly gets pushed further and further back.

10. Mystical invisible dieties are mystical invisible dieties (ie can never be found by empirical methods)

That should be enough to get you started.

Every theory about creation is necessarily unproven and unprovable until the person who did create the universe identifies himself. Of course, how we will know that this person is telling the truth is a different story.

In a sense, we all "create" ourselves each and every day, every moment of our lives & this is the only picture that really matters to the richness of our existence on this planet. Aside from that, we're just squabbling about our own beliefs, which are only just that. A belief.

No there never was a beginning & there probably won`t be an end but with creationism there was a god who has always been here but if there was, who created him?

Yes. Creationism=Intelligent design. There is nothing intelligent in the design of the universe that does not spring from the mind of man.
