the thinking highly attitude, killing, hos and drugs being gloryfied comes from commercial rap. the old school rap never gloryfied those things, they portrayed the struggle on the streets and talked about what people from the streets had to go throuhg, but they never gloryfied those things. if you think they gloryfied those things go back and read again and when you read it and still thinkt hey glorify those things its cause you aint come from where they comming from and have no idea what they talking bout in the first place.

bobs point is there is shitty rap, but there is also shitty things from all geners so dont slam one just because of a couple shitty songs or because you dont understand it. and you dont got to b white to think like a KraKKa.

Well, you haven't heard the other side of the story. Rap is a style of music, right? So it doesn't only have to be used by the ignorant people that you've mentioned, it is also used by people with good intentions. For instance, there's Christian rap where people encourage others and inspire others and speak life. Think about it for a minute and maybe your view will change. I, myself, don't like secular rap, if I were to listen to rap, I would listen to clean artists with good messages.

most of its bad but there is an exception to every type of music. i like the Webee Boys (because theyre funny and make fun of how rap can be)...theyre white btw.
Black Eyed Peas songs are ok sometimes and the rap parts in Ushers songs i dont mind. but yeah i generally dont like rap.

countrys terrible and if not as bad its almost as bad. its wayy too depressing and it reminds me of my father..which im having problems with. it reminds me of him because he likes that music. the only country singer i can enjoy is Leann Rimes..her songs are soulful.

sometimes i can be annoyed with classical..but it all depends on what mood im in. it can put me to sleep and can be sooo boring.

heavy metal would i say is the worst or the 2nd worst because its bad for your health. the hard drum beats/notes give you bad headaches and migraines. that i would never listen to..im talking about the heavy metal, the lighter metals are ok.

other than that music is good. im a music addict so i love or can at least tolerate a bunch of different artists.

I listened to "dogs Police" and heavily....except for them no longer been able to exercising consultation even if or not they're a " BAND " OR " A Comedy Act " ...... they actually can sing in music, compared to others that would want to't sing and use each and every digital persuasion widely used to the echelon of music corridor / Recording studios to help hoodwink the familiar public on those no longer conceivable ..lengthy notes... or lets say wide Echoing words....which won't be able to be replicated stay, for this reason human beings want their money decrease back. One such i imagine is .... " Mark Holden " of Australia, yet worse than he become the guy with the undesirable tooth making a music the dull repetitive music " Yesterdays Heroes " there's some others there, i imagine notwithstanding in fairness Australia insists on acknowledging for the pasts sake.....we are getting uninterested of listening to their moaning each and every time a coach comes up.....that you're feeling the familiar public want to be reminded of this Ouch Sound ! I actually have a guiding theory to the Ozzy music marketplace, quickly as they attain the " previous Vart status " deliver them foreign places ! ....Yea, that is it clone of u.s. and England keep doing to us...they ought to imagine we are all tone DEaf ! Ouch...that become my ear.

Rap sucks. Your ethnicity truly does not matter. People everywhere think rap plagued our society.

And yay...

Rap, hip-hop sucks. I'm so glad people like you, and the people who answered think...differently. I, myself, dislike rap because of those certain topics they rap about. My head started hurting as soon as a rap song came out, and that was yesterday. I'm not white, either, but I would rather listen to my beautiful gothic, death, black, and doom metal rather than any of that crap that those *ssholes call "music".

And I mean the rap that talks about those certain topics. The rest are OK. The secular rap, that one sucks.

I don't like it very much, but to each their own. I like a bit of silence and it's damn hard to get if the music has to be cranked to the max so everyone within 2 miles is pissed. If you want to blow your friggen ears out go to the concert or get headphones. I've seen guys in jail go so nuts having to hear that **** that they smashed the TV and went to solitary to get away from it.
