I want to start a "Spoken Word" Club/Contest on my university. How do I go about this?

My main worry is I guess Censorship and all How do I know what material is acceptable and what is not? How do I get judges what incentives would make them want to come judge the contest. Where do I get a Criterion of what the speeches/poems should include and how many types are there?

Confront your dean or a head of your university with your idea. The best way to get them in your favor is to tell them how it ties into studies( the LUV that kind of thing). To find judges you could ask around and approach people who have a major related to spoken word.Good Luck :)
