I do, though it's not as easy for me as it is for others. I always have hope that things will change, even when they don't.....

Puppies are a lot of work. I live in an apt w/ 2 german shepherds, both of whom are very well behaved and house trained. I am a strong advocate of crate training and think that is the best way to house train. If your boyfriend can't pay attention to him while he's working, then I would reccommend crating him during that time so that he can't go off and pee in the house. If he can take him out every 3 hours just for a quick pee 5-10 minutes or so, the puppy will get the hint. Give him a toy that you can stuff peanut butter or treats in so that it will keep him occupied. An adult dog can handle 3 walks a day, however puppies need at least 5. Is it possible to get a dog walker once a day? That way he doesn't have to worry about it. As far as the night goes, you don't want to free feed him or give him unlimited water. I would say take the water bowl up at 9 or 10pm that way he's not waking you up in the middle of the night. Give him ice cubes instead. If it's more that he wants out of the crate, throw a blanket over it. If he pees in the crate at night, take any bedding out. Most dogs will not urinate where they sleep if they have to lay on it. Having a blanket in the crate will allow him to just push it out of the way. Hope that helps.

well you have the choice to have fun. you are entitled to as much fun as you can just don't degrade yourself to a low level that you are not supposed to on.there is that level that you are on that others only wish they were on but they aren't so they will do anything to get on your level.
