Ok so my sister is telling my mom that Maplestory is a virus, and Im addicted to that game! I love to play it. My mom is telling me to uninstall it. Does MapleStory only mess up your screen (which you can change it back to normal) or is it a virus?

Maplestory is not a virus. I'm not sure why your screen resolutions are being altered, however. If your pc is displaying some odd behaviors, it is possible that your system does have a virus. Viruses are named by their creators for different purposes. It could be that there is a virus on your computer that also carries the name "maplestory". You should make sure your computer has an effective firewall and virus scanning program, like mcafee. Run a scan and delete any potential pc health risks.

no, Maplestory is not a virus. it is a trusted download from a reputable country, the only way to obtain a virus from it is clicking on an advertisement while playing, or downloading from a sight that isnt the maplestory home page.

Anything but a virus. It has gameguard which keeps out viruses and hacks so why would she say that? Your screen probably screws up because the resolution on your original screen doesn't match maplestory's. It simply switches it when launched.

Maplestory won't be able to provide viruses it extremely is a huge interest and his been out for an prolonged time ive performed for an prolonged time in no way effected my pc and ive in no way heard of it giving viruses. in the experience that your pc has low specs it may no longer be waiting to look after Maplestory
