Clinton, Biden, McCain, Brownback, Obama and Dodd. You can throw in Kerry too - he sure wants to be a candidate.

Actually, there are 5 senators running for President.

However, in a greater sense, there are 100 senators running for president, because it has often been said, that is exactly what each of them really want to do. Every senator thinks that he/she should be president. LOL

It's at least 2 % - Clinton from NY, and Obama from IL...not sure if anybody else from the Senate is running, but each senator is 1 % of the total, since there are 100 senators.
