they are ignorant and insecure
be yourself and be happy
life is too short

Well I'm Muslim and am in the USA with my husband right now and get called an "embaressment to the USA" and we're called terrorists. I'm insulted and sad but also happy because I'm pleasing ALLAH by not retaliating and following the Straight path.

Well it makes me feel pretty low, but I try to remember that I can't pretend to be someone else and if people don't like me for being me, but would rather I was someone else, then they aren't worth being friends with. Takes a long time to prop the self esteem back up though

Be careful who you open to. If you are rejected over something that you should have kept to yourself, then thats your fault. SOme things are better left unsaid anyway. TMI is always a bad idea. Think b4 you speak.

i would feel betrayed and let down. pretty awful i think.. i think that's why so many people don't do that...fear of finding out what others are really like. on the flip side....depending on what you did or say...you may have really surprised some people! we are all humans and may need some time to adjust and come around to the new person we see in front of us.

I say that they don't have to accept me for who i am but they need to at least not to be rude or disturbing about it. I think its just IMMATURE when people do that crap. So what if you are a lesbo! that's your choice. But at the same time if i don't like it, i still would not go call you names or just being rude about it. this whole intire ideal is CRAZY!
