for me punk rock and yuppie come to mind most. Think the movie wall street with Michael douglas for the yuppie. Madonna was the icon for the 80s punky woman.

I am not really sure I understand what exactly it is that you are asking about calling people from the 80s. There were tons of steriotypical names for all sorts of groups. It was the decade of excess.
