Theyre basically doing what ben elton and alexei sayle used to do in their comedy sketches.
They are using racist ,sexist and homophobic victimisation for the comic element and then pretending that they are really making fun of the "ignorant" ppl who these adjectives describe.
Its the oldest trick in the book.The ppl who laugh at these comedy sketches are not pitying the racist,sexist and homophobic ppl of society.They are simply laughing at the audacious mockery of these ethnic groups.
All this said,so what.The only ppl getting upset about it are the white leftist cranks like ken livingstone.
the blacks,women,and gays probably watch and enjoy the shows regardless.
Though personally i find little britain repetitive and childish.

No...and anyway how can you be homophobic if you are homosexual, because Matt Lucas is! Its these sort of programmes that show up what some people are really like, it doesn't mean that the actors/producers are like that.

I had to sit through an hour of Little Britain on New Years Eve.
I nearly laughed once. Nearly, and just the once.
It was awful.

but they do take the mickey out of racist,sexist, homophobic people

I don't find their jokes funny - I just don't get where the humour is.
Ok, so some people like it, but people have different humour and Little Britain isn't my kind.
