macys has really cute ones but some are expensive. Also try forever 21, deb, and charlotte russe. They have nice inexpensive dresses there.

DO NOT wear a dress to a middle school dance! im in middle school, and if i EVER wore a dress to a dance, EVERYONE would laugh. Unless u have had a dance before and u went wearing a dress and no one said anything, then go ahad to old navy or angels!

wet seal has cute, affordable dresses for a middle school dane- they aren't as fancy as prom dresses, but look awesome and great. they have stripes, floral prints, and modern and old school looks, whatever suits your style will be there!

charlotte russe has nice dresses, not too formal and not very expensive!
for homecoming thats where me and my friends got our dresses.
