Found about 15 silver coins in a jar of money i have been saving for years....Should I hang on to them ??

Well silver is not going to ever really drop much. So no harm in keeping them. They are not pure but are .900 fine.They actually have .18084 oz of pure silver in them, mixed with copper. Quarters have been going up due to the state quarter program.Seems a good number of the state quarter collectors have figured out, the the Washington quarter actually goes back to 1932 and from that date to 1964 they are made of silver. I would hold onto them.

It depends on the current market (spot) rate of silver at the time...right now it's worth about $2.00. It's not a key date. Silver fluctuates a lot, I would hang on to them unless you absolutely need a few dollars...it could get more valuable as time goes on.

I've got so many 1801 pure silver One Rupee (Indian) coin with engraved image of the queen & all.... they just worth the price of silver... If you find any buyers... he has to meet me personally as the laws of India forbid us to export these things.
