I just recently lost weight going from a dress size 16 to a size 12. I am 23 years old and put on the weight during my pregnancy. Before my pregnancy I was a slim size10 but I am happy staying a size 12 for now.

My wardrobe is full of dull, baggy black clothes in size 16/18 which are too big for me and size 10 jeans, gipsy skirts and boho fashion that I'll never wear again.

I want to go shopping for a new wardrobe but don't know what to buy that in fashion for my age. Please can anyone give me any ideas?

Thanks

Well done for the weight loss, I suggest having a look at a couple of websites first to see what you would like to wear before you go shopping.

I don't think anybody can personally tell you what to wear as everyone has their own individual tastes. Some shop assistants can advise you on things that don't necessary suit you but just to make a quick sale but there are some good retailers who provide a personal shoppers experience.

You should be able to find out if any stores you like provide this service on their website.

Are you in the UK? If so, I recommend Debenhams personal shopper. It's a free service, and they're wonderful. They don't push you to buy loads of stuff, and it's not for spoilt rich football wives. There's a nice big dressing room, they give you tea and biscuits, talk to you about what you're looking for, and bring all the clothes to you. They'll suggest stuff you'd never have considered, they'll know what suits you and is in fashion, and what works with your shape and your lifestyle. I love them.

I would say Jeans, Capris, Dressy Pants. For tops, you can wear tee's, but try to avoid showing too much skin. I would say to add more color into your wardrobe, but you can still stick to some black, as it is a classic color... just make sure not to wear too much of it all at once. Most importantly, be yourself!

you might want to try some jeans, and some flowey (sp) tops (that aren't baggy), and add lots of color to get rid of dull. Go to the gym on night a week you are free to get back down to a ten if that's what you want later on, but for now try my style choices.

I think that some cool jeans and a button-down shirt always looks good. I think the shirt should be black, because it looks cool. Just add some color , in the shoes, or your purse, or a necklace, or something, so it's not so drab.

always untuck your shirt unless you are wearing it to work because if you work in an office environment it will make you look super sloppy. Good luck with your fashion
