I absolutely bawl when I watch this movie. It is just amazing what that father did for his daughter. He gave her life and her love and sacrificed his own life and he did it for love. It didn't hurt that Liv Tyler's real life father Stephen Tyler made the song that says "Don't want to close my eyes"...
At the risk of sounding corny I think that some things touch us when we are reminded of another father's love for his children; God.

I cried when I first saw it. I've cried in other movies too. I think it just means that you have a heart and feelings. I think it's really sweet and normal. So, keep watching and crying and don't ever be ashamed of it.

I cried when King Kong died- even though I knew how it'd end.

I didn't cry. It was bad, but not that bad.
