1. Acceleration (change speed or direction)
2. Angular Acceleration (rotation)
3. Store energy (as in a spring)
4. Deform and produce heat.
5. Generate an electric potential (piezo-electric material)
6. Change phase (gas to a liquid upon compression)
7. Nothing... if the object is restrained, the force passes through the object to whatever is holding it in place.

1) It can increase the velocity of the object as gravity does on a freely falling object.
2) It can decrease the velocity of the object as force of friction or resistance of air does on a moving object. or the gravity does on the object moving vertically up.
3) It can change the volume of the object as pressing a ball decreases the volume of air in it. Pulling a spring will increase its length.
4) It can change the shape of the object like tangential stress on a rectangular block like a thick book.
5) It can change the direction of motion as centripetal force makes the object to move in a circle. e.g. Electrical force which a proton exerts on the electron in a hydrogen atom.makes to move it in a circle.

The answers above more or less cover it. But essentially a force will change an objects Potential or Kinetic Energy and that's it!

Forces can make objects change its speed, direction, shape, and spin.
Think about car accidents.
Two cars -- one going east and one going north -- smacked each other at an intersection. When they hit each other, their speed changes, their direction changes, the shape of the cars definately change, and at least one of them would be spinning out of control.
