I've already achieved greatness, and I'm glad I'm not a celebrity.

God, I hope not!

Can you imagine having to live your whole life thinking you are special when in fact you are nothing but a self obsessed obnoxious teenager of indeterminate age?...

The only great celebrity is one that no one ever heard of!

Achieving greatness or celebrity, good question, but you may
not like the answer.

First of all, you must determine what your career goals are,
and you must define your meanings on how hard you are willing to put out the energy-determinism to achieve even the lowest rung on your success ladder.

If it were me, I would pick a role model(if you can find one) and
see or follow in their footsteps, more or less, if you can.
Study their moves carefully, and determine for yourself was it
dumb luck they became rich and famous or great in celebrity,
or was it through hard work and perserverance(persistence
through insistence)
What was in Britainy Spears background other than she
came from the state of Louisiana? What makes Christine Aguilara so famous, where and from what did she come from?
Paris Hilton, we all know what her background is, the Hilton
family is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $9 hundred
million dollars, thanks to her great- grandfather, so she can
do most anything she pleases, and get away with it, but personally, she is worthless, in terms of family values, personal
skills and abilities to perform any kind of occupation or service
is sadly lacking in her personnel inventory, or reservoir of
talents and skills, she can't cook, clean, sew or fabricate anything
If I was an employer, I would not hire her even as janitor or mail clerk.
In my book, Paris is the ultimate Loser, but she won't have to worry about it, she carries the Hilton name, so she will always
be looked after.

Madonna, another celebrity, she made her fortune through
MTV airing her musical videos, thats how she became wealthy,
although Mariah Carey has her beat, to some extent
Madonna comes from a medium sized city in Michigan, and does have some sense of family values, but may be slightly jaded, which is my opinion, anyway, she put in some heavy work hours to get to where she is now with her career, so she is not
a bad role model to emulate.

If you really want to follow a role model, look at Condoleezza
Rice, a person who has an impeccable academic record,
has her doctorate in Russian culture, a prodigy at the piano,
and knows how to swim a rapid lap in an olympic-sized swimming pool.
She is a very accomplished black woman, and represents her race well.
She would be an excellent role model to follow.

Then you have other so-called role models, Jennifer Aniston,
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry(great person, I love her)
Beyonce Knowles, (good looks don't hurt in Hollywood)
Mary J. Blige, Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah(great smile,
good heart and personality) Will Smith, Jamie Farr, others.

If celebrity don't mean anything to you, then you must find a
career(choose one that pays more than a librarian makes)
dig in and prepare to study your southern posterior off, read
everything you get your hands on, except pornography(thats
a waste of time) put in for every course imaginable, if the
course curriculum calls for two solid courses to satisfy the
major, take 4 instead of two, double up on everything you can,
study, study, and even more study, til its coming out of your eyeballs, take a break, and then go back to it.

You will be organizing your own master plan, and setting up
the best, most optimal way to achieve it, and then execute, and
stay the course, until you can't go any further, by that time you will
be very mature.

But remember, when you look at others and say how come I have to study so much, and that other person already drives
a new BMW 750I, why can't that be me?
Take heart, your turn will come, but you must be patient, because fair and reasonable hard work wins out everytime,
but with some people, in don't seem like it, does it?

All success in anything must be measured objectively, and
also look at quantity and quality, always a factor in making these
kinds of judgments, don't get into the syndrome of that person
has what I don't have and I want the same thing.
You will get yours, if you are willing to work for it, and have an
intense burning desire to become successful, you will.
Tough times don't last, tough people do.
(Dr. Robert Schuyller-Crystal Cathedral)

Thats my message, good luck

Greatness has some possibility; not celebrity though - I prefer anonymity.
