I go to school with girls and guys from families with lots of money. They shop at hollister and those kinds of places. I do to, but I like to stand out. How do I make my own style they will think is a lot of money. I want to be able to shop at those stores, but have my own style too.

Well that's almost impossible... Those stores basically have clothes that are for a "look". They're awesome stores but if you REALLY want to stand out you should go to stores whose clothes aren't so much. They have some of the cutest things and since no one at your school shops there they'll wonder where you got them from...You could also try the flea market just for jewelry (I haven't had any succes with getting good clothes from the flea market)..

I wear preppy clothes(aero, ae, etc.) and also stuff from hot topic, I mix them both together which looks different and can make you stand out.
You could also make your own clothes. I don't mean start from scratch necessarily, but take plain colored shirts and put patches on them, buy acrylic paint and print some stencils from online (www.stencilry.com is a good site) and put those on there. I'm doing that with some shirts I'm gonna buy next week. And I did it to a pair of my converse too.

Add tiny creative touches. Wear unique jewelry. If you want to change how you look, dye you hair or get highlights. If you go to craft stores you can get appliques for you shirts and jeans. I notice at school that neutrals are very popular, wear colors that stand out, like purples, pinks, and oranges. My very favorite store for one of a kind looking pieces is Forever 21. Maybe learn how to sew and make your own clothes. I do alot of times, so they can be whatever you want them to be. Make Jewelry and acessories. They are very individual if you make them yourself.

Well i shop at those stores and im very high maintenance so theres not much i can tell you but whats in style me and my friends started wearing really furry boots and other people are starting now and we made are own belts we glued beer caps on them=]] and theres alot of diff things you can do

try adding other types of somewhat accesories to them...here at Hollywood...I dont always use those two designers...i use other name brands as well that people know are expensive like prada, lacoste, burberry, polo, diesel, sevens (guys collection....an yes im str8 as str8 can be...ok a im bit metro...n sevens do have a guy collection) and if its possible i mix and match these designers with other vintage type thing i can find at sax or at any other hip rodeo dr stores.
personally...adding little personal touches will give the simple anf top more personality and uniqueness...do what you believe is right...if you want to stick with anf n hco...then fine...if you want to experiment with other name brands than more power to you!!!

I think you shouldnt have to make your clothes look expensive...you shouldnt care what they think..if you still wanna shop there..go ahead but add a little somethin like jewlery that isnt high class act like yourself dont worry about what they say

Go to Nordstrom or J.Crew. They have unique things that are very stylish, it will make you stand out but still look good.

i shop at like random stores that not a whole lot of people know about. but are still kind of expensive.

honestly you sound like you are trying to impress them. just wear what you have and be yourself. you shouldn't try to impress them but express yourself with your faith and other good qualities that you posses. when they see that you are doing just fine the way that you are they shall then desire to be like you. but do not let them influence you to do things that are not of you.
