I'm looking for a generic wiring diagram for the PC Speaker, floppy drive, hard drive, LEDs, power switch, reset switch, etc.. that's connected to the motherboard.

That's the problem. The motherboard is not specific with where the wires are connected to. Here is a screen shot taken of the motherboard and pins.

I've got the problem figured out. The motherboard is a Gigabyte
GA-71XE. I found the wiring diagram from their web site.

Now the only problem I am currently having is that I keep getting a Windows Protection Error message. I've repaired the MBR using a boot disk, but that's still as far as I can go aside from using Safe Mode. btw, I'm using Windows 98 SE. I will not upgrade to that bloated XP. So any suggestions to upgrade to that garbage will be ignored.

ditto on looking up the make and model... then getting the user model from the manufacturer's website.

Look on the MB for a name and their is a number with it, find the manufacturer and go to their web site and get the book to it, but the pins if that is what you are looking for is labeled on the board for each hook up.
