How many violations/reports can you get before your answers/e-mail account is deleted???

i'm concerned...even though i've only got 2 (so far!)...i heard that if your answers account gets deleted, your yahoo e-mail also will and i don't want to lose all my e-mails...is that true?

No one knows. I've had 400 or more for chatting and/or not a question or answer... Heinous, to be sure.

It apparently depends on the type and quantity of certain violations.

I always challenge each one, and I almost always get my points back.

EDIT: Yes, this is true. We need to present a uniform voice to Yahoo about deleting the Answers account, and not the e-mail. This policy is why there are so many clone accounts.

Yes its true but you have to get tons of violations. But yes if you get taken off Yahoo answers...You'll loose your email account too.

I would imagine how many, how often, and the severity of the violations would be a part of the decision.
