Just ask an Canadian if they would trade their health care system for ours and the majority will tell you no way. I am one of the 45 million people that does not have access to affordable health care, I have went through about $50,000 trying to pay for mine since I cannot work. When I run out of money I will have no choice but to seek help and if none is given, I will die. Do I think all children need access to affordable health care. You bet and everybody else too.

Right now, we have the worst accessability to health care in the industrialized world. A national health care system would end that, and move us into the ranks of the rest of the world.

Cons say national health care would be a disaster. Maybe for insurance cos, but not people. Medicare is a national health care system, and Medicare enrollees are more satisfied with their healthcare than any other group of Americans.

It works.

I think a national health plan for all Americans is a must in today's environment. We are in a free trade environment in which the USA is the only country where health care is a cost to business. As someone else pointed out, a nonprofit health management system would save billions and help keep jobs in America.

If I remember the Government is in the business of taking our money not funding things for it's Citizens.

But Health care would be a tremendous help to every aspect of American life.

Like GM claiming 14% of car cost is Health care. A German made care has 0%

Medical rip offs CEO's of Insurance Companies like Hank Goldberg giving 2.4 billion dollars to his wife. Medical service providers charging over the top pricing for simple procedures.

Remove the greed from health care and it could be easily funded.

Go big Red Go

Yes I support healthcare for all us citizens, I propose not for profit insurance, so the only ones who make money from the illness or injury of people are doctors and other healthcare workers. Some ******** CEO should not get rich on the suffering of others.
thanks
