That's silly. But a real 19 year old boy who wears makeup in private for fun would know to NEVER use an eyebrow pencil...using a shading tool.

Use the pencil to draw on the shape of your eyebrow (not too heavy on the pencil) then take a short bristled eye brush and use it with the eyebrow powder. Go over the new line (lightly) with the brush & powder until you get the look you're going for. Set these with a light dusting of face powder and it should last all day. If you practice a little you should get a natural look and nobody will know you overplucked!

Have you had your eyebrows cleaned up professionally? It will really open up your face. When using a pencil, you want the arc to be highest at the end of where the colored part of your eyeball is at the side of your face. Use short strokes, even if you are filling in your own brows. You might also want to take a look at www.maybelline.com You can sign up there and put your photo in and try all sorts of looks on the computer.

Assuming you're using it on your eyebrows, use short strokes, to mimic hairs, starting at the bottom and ending upwards or sideways, in the direction of the hair growth.

You shouldn't use eyebrow pencils to line your eyes because they are usually too hard and will damage thin skin around the eye. Use an eyeliner pencil or liquid pen for that.

It all depends on what colour your hair is. My hair varies from blond to dark red depending on my mood and I use Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel. I find it looks natural whatever colour my hair is. To make it darker I just go over the line a few times. When my hair was black I used the darker brown colour. Hope that helps

If you store them in the freezer, they won't smush up on you when you apply.

Shape the brow with tweezers first. Only tweeze the stray hairs that take away from the brow's natural shape.

Don't colour in your brows like you're using a crayon. Use light strokes to fill in thin spots, then lightly over the rest of the brow.

You can also use a clear mascara by brushing it over the brow to shape and define.

what do you want to know.? what kind to get? how to use it? I am thinking you want to know how to use it. use it lightly and use a feather strokes. you dont want to use a solid line or fill in heavy, that will look fake. but use soft feather strokes for a natural look.
