Im 14 and one of my friends who older has a real recording thing and hes in rapping group and they said i have a good voice but i tried singing fast because they kinda rap but sometimes i messed up the words or my tongue got tied up..how can i learn how to sing faster/rap better without jumbling up the words? and also since im still going through puberty kinda sometimes my voice goes silent for a second or my voice cracks, how can i fix this?

You can't stop your voice from cracking. Sorry. And rap is NOT singing, it's talking to background music. Try doing tongue twisters. :) Practice makes perfect! Ok, I hate it when people say that, but whatever, it's true.

Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.

I have been singing for eight years, and I know that rapping is not singing. But, the one important thing to remember is not to try too hard. If you try too hard you will only make a fool of yourself by messing up on the lyrics. You have to develop your own style;also try tapping your foot to the beat of the song. It really helps. Just be confident and be sure of yourself. Don't let anyone tell you any different.

first of all rapping is NOT singing...you can practice that with your buds...however if singing is what you want to do.you can take voice lessons.often offered at you local unniversity that has a musicm program..look in the ads see who is offering voice..
