This is for my lacrosse team. Is 1 month enough time to cut down 1 minute for 2 miles?

Well being able to comfortably run 2 miles isn't much of a feat as almost anybody can comfortably run 2 miles if they go slow enough. But I'm going to assume your time was around 15 minutes? I'm sorry if that's way off! I don't know your times. Currently my PR for a 2 mile is an 11:27. What you're goals are will effect your training program. Kik me @536pr and I can help you!

If the distance you need to run is 2 miles, you should get comfortable running at least 3 miles at a time. Then when it comes time to run 2 miles you can push yourself harder because you don't have to worry about having another mile at the end.

Yes, it is. Just go out running and try to better time each time you run. It will also help you build your endurance and strength.
