i have been on my period since june 2006 i have only had my period 3 times since then, two out of those three times it only lasted up to five days then around jan. 3 i had my period again and since then it has been on and off all the up to about day is that too long of a time to be on your period even if its on and off again.. should i be worried?

well usually it takes a while for the body to get on track after such a big change. i think alot of girls who just start their period go thru a crazy cycle you just have to wait around for it to become "normal". just to be sure talk to your mom, older sister, and or your doctor.

if you are stoping and starting this much you should go and see a doctor sometimes you will need something to get your cycle to be regular i had to go on the pill at 13 because i started and was bleeding for 3 weeks haveing a week break then doing it all again since i have been on the pill i have a regular period that lasts 4 days good luck

Exercise, stress, age, hormones, food, allergys, all can have a effect on your period. Espacally, exercise so if your very active that may be the reason. Plus your body is still changing so that can effect it too. So the answer is no, nothing to worry about. As long as it isn't extremely heavy or painful.

you should see a gynaecologists/gynecologists they specialize in it. i believe they would give you birth control pills because thats what happened to my friend, i think she didn't have her period in like 5 months so they give her pills.

I WOULD TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT GETTING ON SOME BIRTH CONTROL SO YOU CAN REGULATE YOUR PERIOD. GOOD LUCK.
