Take some ibuprophen (advil) before you go. Drink lots of water too. Afterwards use an exfoliator as its growing back to eliminate ingrown hairs. Yes its painful but if your technician knows what he/she is doing it shouldnt bleed. Considering the area your considering I would go to a salon, its just too hard to see if your considering a complete brazilian. Last time I had one (about 2 months ago) it cost $40.

1. a salon can be pricey for both legs
2. i would do it at home, thats what i did since i was sick of shaving
3. no, it wont bleed, but ur legs get red and are VERY sensitive even 4-5 days later
4. to minimize pain, use veet comfort waxing kit, it will still hurt of course but it helps it a little, and stay out of sun until 24 hours later to keep urself from risk of infection.

every salon is different with pricing, call around your area & ask. i'd go to a salon first. i do it at home now sometimes, but it's easier to let someone else. you won't bleed unless something goes wrong. maybe start with waxing your legs or pits to see what it feels like. take ibuprophen 30+ minutes before & there are some numbing creams in drug stores that help some people.

legs? i've been waxing my legs for about a decade..hardly any hair. always done it at home. yes there can be a tiny bit bleed sometime..rarely though. it doesn't hurt as bad as a razor cut that way i gave up shaving. i use cool compresses after i'm done waxing. just a cool washcloth applied to the legs. if you get an at home kit find one with an azulene finishing oil. this helps after waxing and plus helps cleans the skin of left over wax.

It is expensive (about $50 for a brazillian here.)
I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself! Go to a salon.
It can bleed, and will be sore at first.
I don't have any tips. Consult a professional.
There's nothing like having baby smooth skin there!

Professional is best. It depends on where you. about 30 to 50 dollars. I tried at home. Its very nice cuz its completely smooth. I would have preferred to do it professionally. Try it and let me know you like it!
