Romantic situation or "let's just do it" kind of thing?

We were in a book store looking around and he said, "Let's go check out the jewelery store." We picked out the rings and then when we got in the car I said, "Did we just get engaged?" And he said, "Yep, I guess we did!" Then he officially asked me while we were sitting in the parking lot at the mall. Not too romantic, is it?

My husband and I got married on April Fool's Day...we kidded about it and said...that way...if it didn't work out...we would just say it was a joke.
We had a very romantic courtship. We lived together for a year....talked about getting married...decided that it was just a piece of paper...then went and signed that piece of paper.
It's been four years....still romantic...still wonderful...still celebrating our little April Fool's Day....

We had talked about together and actually picked out the ring together but he did ask using the ring. Nothing really romantic here.

I asked him and we got married in our kitchen by a Justice of the Peace! We didn't want the big deal with the dress (he looks bad in dresses anyways!! LoL) and the party. We just knew that we wanted to make the "til death do us part" thing official!

My husband and i have been together 27 years and married going on 22 years, he asked me to marry him a few times and i wasn't sure. then he asked again . about 2 years later and i said yes.

Yes I am married. My husband asked my mother for permission to marry me. later that same night he asked me so when do you want to get married... I told him as soon as you ask me.. he replied I don't have to ask you I have your mothers permission!
