I'd love to have a team in Vegas, seeing you said that in the NBA one, I don't want to sound like a copy cat, mine would have to be.
1: San Jose Earthquakes. I believe San Jose deserves a professonal sports team other than the Sharks. Arguably our countries top sports are football, basketball, and baseball, San Jose has none of those, despite being the tenth largest state in America. The Earthquakes would be the name due to the amount of earthquakes the city has.
2: San Jose of course.
3: Incredible ballpark. I've wanted a ball park that could attract children, women, and men. There would be a a large area for children, consisting of a small ball park for the children, where they could go for a small fee (the fee would pay the security guards making sure no child gets abducted), the children could play with their own mitt and bat, or the one provided. A batting cage for young and old alike. A pitching type of machine where you could throw the ball and find out how fast you throw, sort of like at PetCo park where you get to strike out the computerized version of the best hitters. A museum featuring the team's greats, as well as all-time great's, game used memorabilia. There would be a huge type of mall where you could by the jersey of the old-timers, and the current players, bobble heads, videogames, anything you see that has to do with MLB, and or the Earthquakes. There would be a small bar for the adults to hang out at, a 50 inch HD TV featuring the current game. The field would have a roof over it, with a large plexiglass window, so sunlight could still come in. You could keep warm as well as look at the stars at night. It would be very high, as I would not want troubles that the Astrodome had. The field would have Kentucky Blue Grass, and traditional ballfield dirt (do not know the name). Instead of the checkerboard pattern, the team's logo would be featured in the infield (not dyed like football). There would be a gigantic 100 square foot HD monitor that will be the scoreboard. Every warmup before the half inning, the scoreboard will show the highlights for the current games being played, as well as the traditional games and etc. you see on a scoreboard. There will be fireworks that will shoot off into the ocean everytime a home run is hit by our team, as well as a loud "rumbling" sound, that would represent an earthquake (not to realistic as to scare fans). A projector will then project the video of the player running the basesm all over the stadium, as well as the scoreboard showing it. Every Sunday home game the first 500 fans get to meet some of the players during batting practice. Every week there will be a promotional day. I havem't really planned everything but there would be 100 luxury suites, and a little area for the press to talk to the players right outside of the clubhouse. Then there would be a small area where statues of all our great players from the past woukd be erected.
4: Albert Pujols, he is an incredible ball player who I believe is a great influence on all of the players and gives 110% every game. Jose Reyes, he is a great young player, who loves to play the game. Johan Santana, he's the best pitcher currently, and anytime you have him on your team, you have a chance at the playoffs. Andruw Jones, he's just turning thirty and he hits the longball and is one of the best fielders...ever. Chase Utley, easily the best current second baseman today. He hits for power, average, and is consistent. Finally there's Alex Rodriguez, he has his slumps, but when he's not playing in New York he's great, he always gets the job done, and even 2006 wan't a bad year.
5: Primarily ocean blue, silver lining, and a bit of white, these colors would represent the ocean.
6: Pretty much the stadium as I said, near the beach.

1. Arrows
2. Indianapolis, playing in the #1 rated Triple A stadium with added seating
3. Play in the NL Central and able to generate attendance because of so many Cubs/Reds fans in local area and surrounding states.
4. Scott Olsen, Mike Gonzalez, John Lester, Willy Mo Pena
5. Black and Red, Same colors as current beloved triple A team here would serve as an homage to a great club
6. The Triple A team here in Indy already avg. around 8k-10k in fans each game, and it's barely marketed, the team would also be owned by the citizens of the city. shares could be sold for $100 a piece with no one able to buy more than 10 shares, and the shares could be sold for no more than they are bought for, making it impossible for the team to move

I would scrap the Pirates altogether and give them a new name. I would call them the Pittsburgh Punks. We would have the best rotation and outfield in the business. I wouldnt let players with steroids on my team. I would go after Johan Santana, Barry Zito, Carlos Zambrano, Alfonso Soriano, Gary Matthews Jr., and Manny Ramirez. Our stadium wouldnt have a company name.
