A lawyer is someone who has trained in their own field of expertise like a doctor or an airline pilot, while I may not agree with a lot of them, like the ambulance chasers, I have used the knowledge of lawyers on numerous occasions (including a divorce and making a will ) and found it worthwhile. Ask the lawyer why she/he became a lawyer, what sort of law do they specialize in and why. what qualifications did they have to go to law school and the BIG one that they may not answer----How much do you earn?
