Me and my partner had unprotected sex today for the first time (it's been about 8 hrs since now) and i am worried. My last month period started on the 27th and ended around the 1st. Am I in the safe zone? Also, what contraceptives can i use to prevent pregnancy , since I know I can take a pill upto 72 hrs after the act. Which pill can be suggested in a country like India.

I dont know what they have in India but here in the US they have the morning after pill also known as Plan B. It is a pill that doesnt allow or tries not to allow the fertilized egg to attach to the lining. I hope this helps.

I have no idea what India's rules are. They have a pill called Plan-B in the united states over the counter (18 and over). The sell it in places like Wal-Mart but many places will not based on religious creed. I do not know if it is available in other countries

The only pill you can take is Plan B, aka the "morning after pill". I don't know if they sell it in India or not, but it's the only pill you can take afterwards that can prevent contraception.

Any pill that you take AFTER the act is not a "contraceptive", it's an ABORTIVE.
Here's a thought: Don't have unprotected sex with men that you don't want to have children with.
Otherwise, prepare to accept the potential consequences of your choices.

i think u better take the morning after pill. I dont know about in india but in the us it is the only one you take. good luck

you need to call your drug store or your doctor right away but hun you should not be haveing unprotected sex any way im not your mom but becareful you could get a dasese from that but call a doctor and i think its called ru 85 but not sure i seen it on tv a long time ago

dont take any pills becuzz some can kill you and you dont know which one is legal
