I'm almost 9 weeks with twins (which I know automatically puts me at "high risk"), and my OB wanted me to set up an appointment with a perinatologist at 20 weeks. The perinatologist's office wants to get me in at 15 weeks. Anyone have any experience on what to expect?

It's not an automatic referral but it is definitely for the best. My sisters are twins and my mom delivered with her regular ob and when my ob thought I was pregnant w/twins, he was going to deliver. If you think about it, why not go for the specialist? You will always want the best for your children and I think that this a good place to start!

Well they will do an ultrasound, and talk to you about what to expect, and what tests they will do and when they may want to induce you. Write down question you may want to ask them
