I have blood in my stool.
I had soft stool tinged with blood.
Then watery with bright red blood.
It quit for a few days, but my tummy hurt.
Now a few moments ago I had to RUN to the bathroom I had to go so badly.
I bled in the commode AGAIN, then as I finished it ran clear.
Do I call 911?
I went into ER for this before & they did xrays & a rectal check.
They told me I don't have hemeroids, which I do, but not bad ones. They have never bled.
Now this is scaring me horribly!!! Since I had cancer @ age 24 & a full hysterectomy.
They say I need a comonoscopy, but it is the weekend & I can't go into my DR's clinic to be seen & scheduled for one till Monday.

I am alone with my 78 yr old uncle, and have no transportation. My hubby is in the next town over @ work & can't come get me to take me to ER.

PLEASE HELP ... I am now hurting severely in my tummy?!?!?!?!???

If you're "hurting severely" in the "tummy," then that's not hermorrhoids, so you need to go. Better safe than sorry, right? It's not normal for anyone to be experiencing that kind of pain.

Call your E.R. or a Clinic and see if you can speak with a Nurse, tell the Nurse what is going on and that you don't want to waste an ambulance ride if this is not a true emergency. I'm a Nurse but haven't worked in several years and this is my suggestion. Try to calm down. Think about it and make sure you haven't been drinking and red drinks in large amounts. My Son once had what I would have sworn was true blood in his stool, after calling his Pediatrician at home a few times, my boy finally remembered to tell me he had been drinking large amounts of a red power-aid or some sports drink. Some medicines can cause color changes in your stool also. Pepto Bismol will change it. I'm praying for you! Mammy

Call your local ER. Most ER's have ask a nurse programs. Do you have a terrible and I mean terrible smell to your BM's? A GI bleed smells really, really, really, bad. Not just a little bad. (get the idea):
