If your interested in the other brother, I would not go to the dance with this one.. because down the line, if you ever want anything serious with your crush then he wont want anything to do with you.. and the same thing goes for his friends.. he will think you get "passed along" and name calling might come into affect like "$lut" etc..
on the other hand it is just a dance and you could get "in" with his brother more... like go over to his house, and talk to him, and mention to your crush that you and his brother are just going as friends.. good luck

It's not that big of a deal ! It's only a dance ! Ask the bro if you'd rather go with him! No harm in a girl asking a guy !
