I've had mine last for a full week, and then the next time only last four days. It can vary also depending on hormones.
What I would suggest is keeping a journal of when your period starts and stops, how long it lasted, and how heavy the flow was. Then, if you're still worried..take it to your Dr. with you the next time you go and ask them, but honestly first periods can be eratic. Keeping a journal each month though is a good idea and can help you out in the long run, especially if you have worries. it's something you have a log of incase your Dr. needs more information.

Yes, that's completely normal. Most women don't follow an exact 32-day cycle, especially when they are young and their hormones are sorting themselves out. I think actually a few months passed between my first and second periods. And when I was young there was a lot variation in how long each period lasted.
You should start seeing a gynecologist soon. She can answer any of your questions about this. Or maybe you can talk to the school nurse?

When you first start your period, during the first couple of years your period is not going to come every month. For a couple of years its going to be irregular. That means that it might come in 2 or 3 months. Don't worry that totally normal especially when you just started.

Congratulations on getting your first period. I assume you are in your teens, and want you to know it is completely normal for your periods to be spaced out right now. It sometimes takes a year or two for your body to regulate where they will be more regular, My daughter is 12 so we are expecting hers to start in the near future. Don't think of periods as negative events. It is a sign that you are a maturing, healthy girl. A healthy attitude about your period will make them easier for you in the long run

Don`t worry!! The period will last a lot to normalize. It`s normally but it`s good to ask a doctor the first time it comes, because he/she will check that everything is going fine. You should talk with your mother, an aunt, it`s not a big deal. Relax.

Considering this is your first period, your body is just readjusting to the new change. When I first started mine I had about 2 periods and did not have one for the next 11 months, so I had to get on birth control. So just give your body sometime to readjust because your hormones are changing.

That's completely normal. Even for a lady who has had her period for years. Most periods are not exactly a month apart and five days long, they change and rotate. You are doing just fine.

Don't worry about it, since you recently just got it it will be abnormal for awhile. It can take a year for your body to get a regular cycle going. It also depends on level of activity throughout the day during it. But since its new to your body its normal for the cycle to be abnormal
