ok ladies what's the best designer make up you own for: shadow,eye liner, lipstick/gloss, nail polish, blush/bronzer,foundation, mascara?
My personal faves are:
mascara: Dior Diorshow Mascara
eyeliner: Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil
Shadow: HardCandy EyeCandy
Lipgloss: Dior Diorkiss or Smashbox
Polish: CHANEL Nail Colour
I don't wear blush or bronzer andi dont need foundation.

Well, I honestly think you need to save a bit of money on somethings like mascara and lipgloss, . For lipgloss, drugstore brands are the exact same formula as a designer, so save $25 here or there and buy yourself a nice purse instead. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy drugstore mascara. I has and ingredient that kills the thickness of you natural lashes and clumps like heck. Here is my refined make-up shopping list-
mascara- Clinique High Impact mascara-It makes your lashes really long and defined, It doesn't clump either.
Conceler- Clinique airbrush conceler-it covers all imperfections and makes you look like and airbrushed model
Bare essentials mineral viel-Hides fine lines, soaks up oil and keeps conceler on until you wash it off- and it has no color, so don't worry about turning orange.
Eyeliner- Orgins kohl eyeliner in Black- It is wonderfully wonderful!
Shadow- skip it unless you are going to a party- it will try out the skin on you eyes (especially if it's a powder) and cause wrinkles as you age.
Polish- ANYTHING OPI!!! OPI is the best stuff out there...and they have about every color.
Blush- Bobbi Brown- if you have dry skin, use the cream blush and if you have oily skin, use the powder blush. Ithe winter or weather under 50 degrees, always wear a cream blush.

Polish: Celebrity Bash by Rimmel
Blush: Whos your Daddy by Too Faced
Foundation: MAC

I love MAC cosmetics. The colors are so varied, and they are so highly pigmented that a little bit goes a long way and they last forever. I don't really wear much of anything else anymore; I refuse to wear any other eye shadow than MAC, and I don't wear lipstick except for Viva Glam VI which I bought a few months ago. The exception to this is Clinique Superbalm; they are lightly tinted, which I like, and shiny as all get out!

Mascara: whatever I feel like buying at the time
Eyeliner: MAC, it stays on well.
Shadow: MAC or Clinique, it stays all day without creasing.
Lip gloss: Chanel, it feels great and stays on well.
Foundation/Powder: Chanel, it smoothes out your skin for a flawless look.

I like:
Concealer- Benefit
Foundation- either Loreal's True Match or Infallible
Eyeliner- MAC powerpoint pencils
Eyeshadow- Nars
Lip gloss- Nars or Mac
Blush-Nars or Mac
I also use Smashbox primer but no mascara. Irritated my contacts.

eye shadows- fashoin fair and the new HIP line cuz the colors stay on and doesnt fade

i don't need to buy expensive makeup. i like the MAC eyeshadow, but i think that all the other stuff is the same stuff you can buy at CVS. to each her own. if you like it, and can afford it, buy it till you're hearts content.
