i know people say to buy face scrubs, but that only dries my face up. i've been told to put alchol on the pimple to dry the pimple out only. and some people say that pimples come because of stress, but idk. basicly, i want to know if there are any better ways to get rid of pimples then by spending a lot of money or drying my face up.

Pimples are such a pain. And I totally hear you about them. My face is super sensitive and I always end up drying out my face.

I'm trying Pro Activ right now but I can't really tell one way or another as of yet. But it does keep your face from drying out.

If you're worried about money, you can try something more organic. Toothpaste is suppose to be helpful. I've tried and it does help with the redness. You just put a little dab on the spot and let it dry over night.

Neutrogena makes a lotion that's suppose to be oil free. After washing your face, apply the lotion very lightly and it should help with your dry skin.

If you have the opportunity, search online for home made recipes and give those a try.

It depends on how bad you have pimples. Burts Bee makes a great spot pimple treatment they actually have two prodcuts, one is a parsely stick and one is a acne stick) for the one or two a women/girl might get during thier period or just the occasional pimple. They arent that expensive and can be found in the health food section of most gorcery stores, online or at health food stores.
People who have full on acne should use products with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid and gently wash thier face twice a day.
Whatever you do, dont pick at them. Scars..is what you'll have.

The key is to give the product time to work..at least a few weeks.

after cleansing you're supposed to put oil-free moisturizer on!!!!!
trust me that helps.
if you need to fix a pimple you already have, take the stuff that gets rid of redness in your eyes, coat a Q-tip and stick it in the freezer. when it's frozen hold it against the pimple for a little while. The ice reduces the swelling and speeds up healing and the anti-redness medication gets rid of redness.

First of all, do not use lotions, or lots of makeup. This clogs your pores and causes pimples. To get rid of pimples, simple do not touch your face and wash it in the morning and at night to keep clean with a special soap. Of you do not have a special soap, use bathing soap, but DO NOT use hand soap. If you want to get rid of them fast, I suggest popping then with a needle to clean out the puss, and let them recover on their own. No matter what anyone says, don not try toothpaste or gel, it drys out skin.
Oh another thing, DON'T use cold water if you decide not to pop them! It closes the pores. Use as hot of water as you can take without burning yourself. It opens the pores to clean out dirt.

heyy! um i had pimples aswell but what really helps is drinking a lot of water that's how i got rid of my pimples and it gets you a really healthy look. Its way better and it does save you a lot of money, it doesen't dry your skin and also when i drank water i had to pee that much but whatever it helps. just keep drinking water until you notice changes in your skin it does take a while.

I went to a dermatologist and they gave me some good stuff. It works really well if i use it every day. It is called Differin and Duac. I don't think this would dry up your face.

most medicines or lotions that are for acne or pimples WILL dry out your face, trust me i have been dealing with acne since i was 11. you could try clean and clear, but that may make your skin itcy, i know it did mine, but its worth a try.
