Every cigarette you smoke takes another five minutes off your life....harsh but true, If you go one day without smoking you can reduce your chances of having a heart attack by seventy-five percent. It also all depends on your age, during your teenage years you could get the nicotine out of your system within three days if you stop and a year to get everything completely out. But the older you are the harder it will become and the more damage you will do, the more you try to quit the better you get at it and eventually will be able to quit completely. If you do attempt to quit, try carrying only a very limited amount of cigarettes with you so your not tempted to smoke anymore than that.

Well with all the studies and reports and evidence we have today, it is really amazing that someone is still asking this lamebrain question. Smoking cigarettes are just simply bad for your health and the health of your loved ones. It is simply harmful to your body as cigarettes contain tar and nicotine and with the smoke going directly to your lungs the odds of your health is 4 to 1 that you will develop lung and or heart problem years from now. Then like many other people who live on the edge of fate, you will decry your ignorance and what someone to save you. Go Figure... Wake up and smell the smoke.

People who think it's not harmful are ignorant. Those who suffered from second hand smoke probably thought the same thing...how harmful can it be? Well guess what....if second hand smoke has been linked to lung cancer and other lung disorders, what do you think 1 or 2 direct impact of cigarette smoking will do?
Bottom line...you may be lucky and have a good genetic composition to resist the harmful effects of smoking, then again, you may not and develop lung cancer tomorrow. If you want to take that chance, it's your life. Just don't do it around others.

It's worse than not. How could breathing smoke be good for you? Whether you smoke 1 or 2 cigarettes per day or 1 or 2 packs per day... you'd still be a smoker. Smoking is becoming less cool.

1-2 usually leads to more over a period of time. The very best thing to do for yourself is to stop those few cigarettes a day now while it's easy, than later on when it is too tough.

well even smoking any amount can be harmful due to the toxins you inhale. But 1-2 is better than two packs a day.

It can have consequences in time, because you will smoke more and more, and that will also file your body and hart.........on the cigarettes it is written that it can cause also death. But first of all it is not good for you because that can make you dependent for nicotine and you will smoke more........

all i can say is that you'll probably end up smoking more than that each day unless you are strong enough to tell yourself 1 or 2 is enough... and if you're strong enough to do that, you should just try to quit altogether.
