Yes the Bible teaches love, but no person is perfect, therefore no one folllows it perfectly (except Jesus). Righteoudness is not a sin, but self-righteousness is. There is a fine line. There is hate and condemnation in the world, because people are not perfect, and they make mistakes. Hate and condemnation are human mistakes. The Bible says, "There is now no condemnation in Christ Jesus (Romans 8 I think). So Jesus does not condemn, but unfortuntaely people do. I'm sorry some people have annoyed you. I don't know what else to say.

I'm not even gay and these crazy conceited bigots irritate me so much that I come to this section specifically to yell at them.
And they are all ignorant, regardless, and refuse to open their eyes.

For some reason, they are under the impression that they are doing God's work by condemning homosexuals. But, they should consider that radical Islamists also think they are doing God's work by killing Christians.

I was raised knowing that God has equal love for all and tolerance is part of my nature. Maybe bigoted people are raised to be bigots and they can't help hating.

However, I'd like to think that the Bible teaches tolerance somehow and that maybe we have it translated wrong or something.
But, although the Bible was inspired of God, it was written down by Man.

I want to tell you that I am a Bisexual Christian. I agree that those coming here that are giving you Bible verses to tell you that you are condemned are totally off base. If it was true that those that sin are condemned and have no hope EXCEPT that they do not sin anymore then we are all condemned.

What I want to tell you is that those Christians that do that have lost sight of the faith that they should communicate. We were told to preach the Gospel, and not to condemn others.

If it has any weight to you, in that it might mean something to you, those Christians do not have God in thier own corner. Either we are in God's corner rather, or we are lost.

So you do have hope. It's just not communicated by those who are taught to bring harmful words to you. If they really believe the Bible, then they are guided by the devil that they also condemn. Their words are poison, and they fall far from the message of grace, peace, and hope. Their message is not from God. It is not the message of Jesus Christ. It was them and those like them- the Pharisees of Jesus 's time- that were 'religious people' who thought that their behavior saved them. It was the 'religious' people of Jesus time that he have the most problem with. So you are seeing history repeat itself.

I am might as well come out and say it. I don't believe homosexuality is right. However lying isn't right, sex outside marriage isn't right, calling someone a b*tch isn't right. Homosexuality isn't better or worse than any of that, so I don't hate any homosexuals. In fact, I don't dislike any that I know personally. And ya, the Bible teaches love. So as long as your talking about the whole "god hates fags" groups and people who are constantly down your throat about being gay annoying you, that you have every right to be. But if you are annoyed with people having different opinions that you, you might want to reevaluate your values.

I really don't get why they all hang out here. I mean if you look at it, it looks like Y!A purposely set up our category to be separate from the other society and culture categories. They most likely did that so that those who did not wish to be a part of the conversations here could avoid them. And yet they all flock here anyway!! Grrrr.

P.S. to the crazy dude who said there are no gay animals... you haven't been reading the news lately, have you? Penguins can be gay. Monkeys can be gay. And the list goes on and on.

I'm not gay and bible thumpers annoy me also! Many of them are just hypocrites and not secure enough in their own beliefs so they have to take it out on someone else. Right now, that happens to be gay people. In the future, it'll be someone else.
