It would not be wrong if they first began with there own countries problems and tried to work through all of theirs first and once that was done, then worked on some with other countries to help identify and solve problems. I find it difficult to tell anyone what their problems are without first examining what my own are.

The original intent of government was ONLY to make a few common sense laws and make war on our enemies if necessary. The govt. was not to be involved in the states or the citizens in any manner. It was to be unobtrusive in our private lives. Govt. CAN'T solve society's problems. Only the people can solve their own problems. Now, everybody thinks the govt. owes them something. Not true! The only thing we 'need' from govt. is LESS taxes so our lives can be a little better provided for. It all went bad when Lyndon Johnson created a giant Rights destroying 'great society', the welfare state. You know what an evil monster that turned out to be. At least I hope you know. Maybe not, though. You must be a libtard!

All too often, the government either causes or prolongs the problems.
Many of the so-called government 'solutions' don't actually find and solve the root cause of the problem. Instead, they merely attempt to modify the situation so the result is the same as if the problem had been fixed, without actually fixing anything. Many of those solutions allow the problem to continue even longer, because of the illusion of a fix... a permanent solution to a temporary problem, so to speak.
Metaphorically speaking, most of the government's programs are merely remedies to mask the symptoms of the disease rather than actual cures for the disease.

The only thing the government should do is step out of the way and encourage people to do just that by tax exempting them .
You house the homeless you pay no taxes .you care for the sick you pay no taxes . Its so simple .
This eliminates the government completely .All you need to be tax exempt is to contribute 10% of your earnings to social programs .Or provide 10% of you services to the needy . Build 10 houses and give one to the poor and you are tax free along with your workers .
Do we need government .
Just a good plan is all that is needed .
If we stopped starting wars and conflicts no military would be needed . We just keep 100 nukes at the ready and let the world know we will use them .

There is nothing really wrong. In fact, it is the only way to protect public interest. As you know we all have different opinion. Some like gay marriage, some don't; some like capital punishment, some oppose to it; some like to send more troops to Iraq, some want our troops to get out of Iraq completely. Without the Government, we will be fighting each other all the time.

You mean other than the fact that government IS the problem, as President Reagan once famously remarked?
There are three things which can fix any problem from which society suffers: the private sector, the private sector, and the private sector.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it my friend.
There are those who will tell you that the private sector should do all the government currently does but that's fraught with conflict of interest.
Should corporations defend our country? Look at all the fraud and waste with defense subcontractors going on now. Privatizing it would only make it worse.
Should corporations take over federally sponsored scientific research? No for one basic research would disappear and only research that is profitable would be allowed. Also, look at alll the scandals involving pharmaceutical companies currently regulated by the FDA. That would only be 100 times worse.
I could go on and on. There are some things best removed from the pressures of capitalism

I don't have enough money to build a fort with a moat, so I say the government needs to try to solve social issues.....but the people who have the money to build fancy walls and security don't need to concern themselves

They're failures at it. Individual citizens have done more for this country than the government ever has.
