yes, most of the time i can (my dad is a dentist.) trouble is, each dentist/dental lab is different in their quality of work. easiest thing would be to ask someone who has good work who their dentist is but that would mean you could tell they had work done! i have had friends pay a lot of money for very "fake" teeth and it is too expensive to get re-done. i would research it A LOT before you plop down all that money and ask, "do i really need this done?" or could you get away with teeth bleaching (if your teeth are fairly straight.) good luck!

If done well no you can't tell someone has a veneer or crown!! If poorly done then yes you can tell.
