I applied to Chapman University via early action

and they requested my fall term grades

is this necessarily a bad or good thing because in fact people have already been rejected

does this mean they are at least considering me?

I think it really means youre on the bubble - borderline - if you had AWESOME grades they would have accepted you already. If you had HORRIBLE grades they wouldve rejected you like those you mentioned. They want your fall grades to see if you went up so they can admit you, or put you on the waiting list.

Good luck!

depends how bad are your grades?? they are considering you just they want to know how you did in school and get an idea of how you will do at their university.

It isn't a bad thing -- if you did well this Fall. But it does mean they want more information.

The good news -- they havn't rejected you.
