6 months ago, I met this man. Through the internet. We became friends. Everday we talked. I felt close to him. I'm unsure how he exactly felt for me. But for the most part we were friends. Now, I don't hear from him. Why become my friend then dump me without an explaination? And I don't bug him. So, why is acting this way? Be nice :)

No one dumps a friend, a true friend can't be dumped. A real friend isn't going to just accept being dumped without getting back with you to find out what's going on. You may be more of a friend than he is to you because you're at least wanting to know why he isn't around anymore. We say that we want your friendship today, and for the most part we do mean it when we say it, but feelings change and what happens down the line, how things will turn out, we can't predict that, even though we're the ones who are supposed to be in complete and total control over everything. I've done it myself; you like the girl a bit, you want to be friends and you do that but then you learn more and start to like her more and you figure why not. But she doesn't want a relationship, and it's just easier to let that friendship go than deal with the confrontation of telling her because it then looks as though you weren't completely honest with her from the beginning even though that wasn't the case. Perhaps we do want more but aren't entirely honest with ourselves because it isn't necessarily right to want more, or we feel that it is at odds with the friendship, which I've done as well. We're not really that much different from you, though we do handle whatever problems may arise differently ...

Sometimes, guys can be weird like that. Tricky thing about the Internet is, unless you have a web cam, everyone you talk to is a faceless individual you can just stop talking to or block and never hear from them again. Maybe this guy thought he was getting to close, and the only way he could back away without hurting you or himself would be to just drop all lines of communication altogether. Don't let it get you down, though! As far as I'm concerned, if he couldn't tell you upfront why he's stopped talking with you then he's not worth your time anyway! :-)

Because you intimidate him.Mabe he thuoght you expected more,or he expexted something else. But those kinda relationships rarely work i believe in old shool methods.I ask the woman out.But cheer up mabe he was incompatible?Only he could tell you why don't you send him a email explain everything, and ask whats up?Or move on But i wish you well Peace Victorio

It's an easy way out for them.
If they were to say "I don't like you anymore", or "I don't want to talk to you anymore", it would hurt more than, "Let's be friends"...
In the end, they all mean the same thing. Sorry.
But all we can do, is pick ourselves up and move on!
Good Luck.

It's a line "We can just be friends" or "I just want to be friends", guys use that all the time!!!

The truth is they really want to be "more than friends" and they use these lines to get close to you, once they realize YOU really just want to be "friends" they run off to the next girl.

everyone changes in time and maybe both of you were at the stage where you both needed each other at the time, but in time, different things happen and our needs change, its maybe not a personal thing, but just human nature.
